Description
Photograph of a deer doe watching me approach as I walk along the abandoned railroad tracks in Qualicum Beach on Vancouver Island, British Columbia, Canada. I have added a watercolor effect to my original photograph to give it a more painterly, softer feel. The railroad tracks are a great place for wildlife sightings...there are often deer, rabbits, and quail to be seen as well as various birds.
Day 3 - "Deer on the Railroad Tracks" is my entry on on the final day of Fine Art America's three-day challenge to create a work with the theme of "perspective".

Oh how I love this shot Peggy...
Peggy Collins replied:
Thanks, Jim! I actually thought of you while I was editing this one. Maybe because I was thinking how you'd probably love to explore abandoned railroad tracks. :-)
