Description
I often saw this cute spotted fawn, one of a pair of twins, in the middle of our village on the Sunshine Coast of British Columbia, Canada. He is a black-tailed deer, which is a sub-species of mule deer that can be found in the Pacific Northwest. He especially enjoyed grazing in the grassy fields at the entrance to our village, and could often be found nibbling on the flowers that were planted by a volunteer gardener, much to the man's dismay. Unfortunately a good part of this special area has now been dug up for a small shopping mall but the garden is still there for the dining pleasure of the neighborhood deer.
