Vintage ad for a Packard luxury car, made by the Packard Motor Car Company in Detroit, Michigan in the late 1800s and early 1900s. An illustration of the vehice is shown at the bottom of the full page advertisement, and the text reads, in part: "Beauty is a human necessity. Taste is the faculty of discerning it." The ad goes on to describe the prestige of being able to afford and own this expensive, luxury car.
This ad was found in the Theatre Magazine, which was based in New York.
