Vintage collage combining old ephemera from the early 1900's (the bicycle, Eiffel Tower, vintage piano sheet music for the song April in Paris, postmarks, a flying bluebird, a letter), combined with my photograph of cherry blossoms blooming in spring. Textures have been added as well. The dominant color is pink and the whole effect is very feminine.
I am a digital/mixed media artist and nature photographer living on Vancouver Island in British Columbia, Canada. I'm surrounded by the ocean, forests, mountains, and abundant wildlife, and these things bring me joy that I hope finds its way into my images. When you view my work, my wish is that you feel a sense of intimacy that deepens your own connection to nature. Aside from photography, one of my passions is creating portraits of cats, dogs, and other animals. I also have growing collections of abstract landscapes, trees, flowers, and musical instruments.
