A red-winged blackbird gives chase to a crow in this bird version of David and Goliath. This image was taken at the beach and I had just witnessed the crows harassing a bald eagle in a tree. Minutes later the blackbird was flying after the crow. And on and on it goes!

I am a digital/mixed media artist and nature photographer living on Vancouver Island in British Columbia, Canada. I'm surrounded by the ocean, forests, mountains, and abundant wildlife, and these things bring me joy that I hope finds its way into my images. When you view my work, my wish is that you feel a sense of intimacy that deepens your own connection to nature.
