Description
Stained glass window of a woman under a tree with a swan photographed in Craigdarroch Castle in Victoria on Vancouver Island in British Columbia, Canada.
Craigdarroch Castle is a Scottish baronial style mansion from the Victorian era that has been designated as a National Historic site of Canada. It was built between 1887 and 1890 by Scottish immigrant Robert Dunsmuir who made his fortune from Vancouver Island coal during the Industrial Age. The castle originally contained 47 leaded stained glass windows however only 32 of these art glass windows remain; the remainder have mysteriously vanished. The artisans who created the windows also remains a mystery.

Beautiful!
Peggy Collins replied:
Isn't it? The craftsmanship of the stained glass windows in this castle is amazing. It's such a shame that they aren't sure who the creator was.
