Artist's Description
Meet Zane, a tabby cat who loves to spend all his time in the garden blending in. Mom always has to bang the cat food tin to get Zane back into the house. His favorite thing to do it hide behind flowers and leaves and pretend like he lives in the jungle. His portrait is done in profile with an abstract of jungle flowers and palm leaves.
About Peggy Collins
I am a digital/mixed media artist and nature photographer living on Vancouver Island in British Columbia, Canada. I'm surrounded by the ocean, forests, mountains, and abundant wildlife, and these things bring me joy that I hope finds its way into my images. When you view my work, my wish is that you feel a sense of intimacy that deepens your own connection to nature. Aside from photography, one of my passions is creating portraits of cats, dogs, and other animals. I also have growing collections of abstract landscapes, trees, flowers, and musical instruments.
