I played with this photograph of irises taken in the garden by using an assortment of digital art filters to create a floral abstract and make the flowers come alive. I was fascinated by the intricate coloring of this variety of purple blue iris once I played around with the filters. What fun to create a fantasy flower garden!
I am a digital/mixed media artist and nature photographer living on Vancouver Island in British Columbia, Canada. I'm surrounded by the ocean, forests, mountains, and abundant wildlife, and these things bring me joy that I hope finds its way into my images.
