Photograph of a ferry leaving the Horseshoe Bay ferry terminal with sailboats in the foreground and snowcapped mountains in the background. The ferry had a special paint job commemorating the 2010 Olympics that were held in nearby Vancouver. This image has been altered with several filters and other techniques to give it a more painterly feel.
About Peggy Collins
I am a digital/mixed media artist and nature photographer living on Vancouver Island in British Columbia, Canada. I'm surrounded by the ocean, forests, mountains, and abundant wildlife, and these things bring me joy that I hope finds its way into my images. When you view my work, my wish is that you feel a sense of intimacy that deepens your own connection to nature. Aside from photography, one of my passions is creating portraits of cats, dogs, and other animals. I also have growing collections of abstract landscapes, trees, flowers, and musical instruments.
