What could be more cheerful than the sun shining and some butterflies floating through the air? These are some of the elements I used in this subtle vintage collage using ephemera from the 1900s combined with modern additions such as floral swirls and many layers of textures and painting. The golden tones with hints of turquoise blue and lavender would enliven any decor.

I am a digital/mixed media artist and nature photographer living on Vancouver Island in British Columbia, Canada. I'm surrounded by the ocean, forests, mountains, and abundant wildlife, and these things bring me joy that I hope finds its way into my images. When you view my work, my wish is that you feel a sense of intimacy that deepens your own connection to nature.
