Artist's Description
There's something about these fuschia flowers that reminds me of ballet dancers. This painterly floral photograph in vertical format has tones of red, white and green.
I originally photographed these flowers hanging from a basket of blooms on my deck with an old film camera decades ago. I recently used the photograph as a base to paint the flowers digitally.
About Peggy Collins
I am a digital/mixed media artist and nature photographer living on Vancouver Island in British Columbia, Canada. I'm surrounded by the ocean, forests, mountains, and abundant wildlife, and these things bring me joy that I hope finds its way into my images.
