A frisky spotted fawn takes off running just for the fun of it in this wildlife image. I photographed this young one from my living room window as he played with his yearling siblings. I have added a watercolor effect to the fawn's photo to give the image a more painterly quality.

I am a digital/mixed media artist and nature photographer living on Vancouver Island in British Columbia, Canada. I'm surrounded by the ocean, forests, mountains, and abundant wildlife, and these things bring me joy that I hope finds its way into my images.
