Eagles on the Beach T-Shirt

A pair of bald eagles perch on top of a lichen-encrusted piece of driftwood on the beach at low tide, by the Little Qualicum River estuary near Qualicum Beach on Vancouver Island, British Columbia, Canada. A flock of gulls floats in the ocean behind them and in the distant background is the forest of evergreen trees that covers the coast. I believe this is a mated pair of eagles...it is spring and I often see pairs of raptors together during this season.

I am a digital/mixed media artist and nature photographer living on Vancouver Island in British Columbia, Canada. I'm surrounded by the ocean, forests, mountains, and abundant wildlife, and these things bring me joy that I hope finds its way into my images. When you view my work, my wish is that you feel a sense of intimacy that deepens your own connection to nature. Aside from photography, one of my passions is creating portraits of cats, dogs, and other animals. I also have growing collections of abstract landscapes, trees, flowers, and musical instruments. I also enjoy creating collages using vintage ephemera from the late 1800's and early 1900's. My work has been published numerous times in books, magazines, calendars, greeting...
