Here's another photograph of my barred owl friend, Buddy, from a series of shots. My raptor pal prefers to sit in alder trees that border the forest and a field where he can take his pick of rodents or snakes. He definitely has a taste for snakes because that all I've seen him hunt and eat so far (luckily).

I am a digital/mixed media artist and nature photographer living on Vancouver Island in British Columbia, Canada. I'm surrounded by the ocean, forests, mountains, and abundant wildlife, and these things bring me joy that I hope finds its way into my images. When you view my work, my wish is that you feel a sense of intimacy that deepens your own connection to nature.
