Slightly abstract artwork of a grey cat named Oscar in his younger years, in playful mode as a wild-eyed kitten. Oscar's portrait has been done in tones of black, gray, purple, and blue...not to mention his big gold eyes.

Here is what Oscar's owner has to say about him:

"Oscar is a very spoiled “foster failure”. He is a very demanding, head butting little grey “squirrel” who is very proud of his tail (and is insisting on being held as I struggle to type this."

I am a digital/mixed media artist and nature photographer living on Vancouver Island in British Columbia, Canada. I'm surrounded by the ocean, forests, mountains, and abundant wildlife, and these things bring me joy that I hope finds its way into my images. When you view my work, my wish is that you feel a sense of intimacy that deepens your own connection to nature. Aside from photography, one of my passions is creating portraits of cats, dogs, and other animals. I also have growing collections of abstract landscapes, trees, flowers, and musical instruments.
