Artist's Description
Photograph of my mixed breed dog, Osa, showing mostly her head with natural light coming from the left of the frame and a neutral grey background. At 10 years old, Osa is a mature dog, probably part greyhound, with a brindle coat and a little grey showing on her muzzle. I had contacted her former owner who told me her history of running away but she has turned into a gem of a dog and gets along great with her doggie sister.
About Peggy Collins
I am a digital/mixed media artist and nature photographer living on Vancouver Island in British Columbia, Canada. I'm surrounded by the ocean, forests, mountains, and abundant wildlife, and these things bring me joy that I hope finds its way into my images. When you view my work, my wish is that you feel a sense of intimacy that deepens your own connection to nature. I also enjoy creating collages using vintage ephemera from the late 1800's and early 1900's. My work has been published numerous times in books, magazines, calendars, greeting...

Peggy Collins replied:
