I saw this bobcat cross the highway as we were driving home from a morning hike and got my husband to pull over. I photographed him as he walked through some bushes, then I looked away for just a moment and I couldn't see him anymore. As you can probably tell, they're very well camouflaged in the bush. I was calling back and forth to my husband and was just about to leave when I saw him again, showing up against the white snow. He leisurely walked up a slight incline and disappeared over the hill. It was an exciting moment for a nature photographer!
