This is a portrait of a tabby cat named Rosa, done in an old world style with a floral theme. Rosa is pleasantly plump, following the fashion of days of old when being rotund not only wasn't a crime, it was encouraged and a sign of wealth. Rosa lives the good life of a very pampered pet.

I am a digital/mixed media artist and nature photographer living on Vancouver Island in British Columbia, Canada. I'm surrounded by the ocean, forests, mountains, and abundant wildlife, and these things bring me joy that I hope finds its way into my images. When you view my work, my wish is that you feel a sense of intimacy that deepens your own connection to nature.
