Artist's Description
Meet Chipper the Chipmunk, a little furry friend who definitely knows how to eat. Since I never seem to have chipmunks visiting me at my own house, I had to travel across the country to visit my parents, who have plenty of chippies running around. Chipper and I bonded because we had a good arrangement: I kept him fed with a constant supply of sunflower seeds, and he provided me with plenty of photographic opportunities. Chipper definitely knew how to stuff his cheeks and I was only too happy to take his portrait at the dinner table.

About Peggy Collins
I am a digital/mixed media artist and nature photographer living on Vancouver Island in British Columbia, Canada. I'm surrounded by the ocean, forests, mountains, and abundant wildlife, and these things bring me joy that I hope finds its way into my images. When you view my work, my wish is that you feel a sense of intimacy that deepens your own connection to nature. Aside from photography, one of my passions is creating portraits of cats, dogs, and other animals. I also have growing collections of abstract landscapes, trees, flowers, and musical instruments. I also enjoy creating collages using vintage ephemera from the late 1800's and early 1900's. My work has been published numerous times in books, magazines, calendars, greeting...
