Description
Photograph of a snowman dressed in a bright orange scarf and jaunty colorful cap, with rock eyes and mouth and of course the required carrot for a nose. I had a lot of fun building this snowman by the ocean's coast where it was lined with snowy evergreen trees and looking a lot like Christmas as it continued to snow. The snowman pictured here is the second version, however. The first snowman I built had a different cap that I'd borrowed from my husband. Unfortunately, this version of Frosty was structurally unsound and when I went to jam in his carrot nose, his whole torso and head toppled over and crashed down the cliff. Somewhere down there a boulder is wearing a bright knitted cap and I certainly hope it appreciates the Christmas gift!

Peggy this is a very stylish snowman! His scarf is certainly color coordinated with his nose and cap and provide a welcome bit of color in the cool colors of the photo.I love the fact the water hasn't frozen yet in the pond but the trees are laden with snow. A lovely winterscape!

Thank you, Karen! Yes, I thought this cap was actually better looking than the one that went over the cliff, oops! BTW, this was taken by the ocean, but the idea of an unfrozen pond is very poetic!
