Impressionistic portrait of a brown and white tabby cat named Sammy in a field of wildflowers. Sammy loves to spend time outdoors snoozing in the sun on a hot day. That's his favorite kind of day and let's face it, if we had time we'd be doing the same thing. First a long nap, then a wonderful bowl of food that's waiting for you. And sometimes you can even turn up your cute little nose at the food that is offered and maybe get a choice tidbit from the dinner table instead. Such is the life of a much-loved cat.

I am a digital/mixed media artist and nature photographer living on Vancouver Island in British Columbia, Canada. I'm surrounded by the ocean, forests, mountains, and abundant wildlife, and these things bring me joy that I hope finds its way into my images. When you view my work, my wish is that you feel a sense of intimacy that deepens your own connection to nature. Aside from photography, one of my passions is creating portraits of cats, dogs, and other animals. I also have growing collections of abstract landscapes, trees, flowers, and musical instruments.
