Every Saturday a group of sailors go out sailing on Gunboat Bay in Pender Harbour on the Sunshine Coast of British Columbia, Canada. I captured the flotilla of seven sailboats as they sailed along the misty coast as the sun was setting, turning the sky a lovely shade of lavender. I love how the white sails of the boats are glowing in the fog and the Pacific is an intense blue.

I am a digital/mixed media artist and nature photographer living on Vancouver Island in British Columbia, Canada.
