An American Robin (Turdus migratorius) is framed by leaves and cherries, looking for the perfect cherry to feast upon. The cherry tree is in our back yard and I barely got to eat any of them because the robins hit it hard, eating the fruit as soon as it ripened, wiping out the cherries within days.
I am a digital/mixed media artist and nature photographer living on Vancouver Island in British Columbia, Canada. I'm surrounded by the ocean, forests, mountains, and abundant wildlife, and these things bring me joy that I hope finds its way into my images. When you view my work, my wish is that you feel a sense of intimacy that deepens your own connection to nature. Aside from photography, one of my passions is creating portraits of cats, dogs, and other animals. I also have growing collections of abstract landscapes, trees, flowers, and musical instruments.
