A psychedelic portrait of a black cat named Speedy. Remember the old black light posters? That is the effect I was going after for this artwork. Neon colors of blue, purple, green, red and orange turn this black kitty into a psychedelic poster from the 60s.

I am a digital/mixed media artist and nature photographer living on Vancouver Island in British Columbia, Canada. I'm surrounded by the ocean, forests, mountains, and abundant wildlife, and these things bring me joy that I hope finds its way into my images. When you view my work, my wish is that you feel a sense of intimacy that deepens your own connection to nature. Aside from photography, one of my passions is creating portraits of cats, dogs, and other animals. I also have growing collections of abstract landscapes, trees, flowers, and musical instruments.
