Artist's Description
This is a commissioned artwork of a Pomeranian dog named Piper. Here's a little information about Piper's background, written by the owner's mother:
"Piper was two when we went to a flea market on Mother's Day. My daughter spotted her and a bunch of kids were passing her around. My daughter paid the people that were selling her. Piper was two pounds and pregnant. Not even a week later she went into labor, had a C-section, and her three pups were born...Tom, Dick, and Harry lol. None looked like mom. Piper is now 13 years old and is the princess of the house."
About Peggy Collins

I am a digital/mixed media artist and nature photographer living on Vancouver Island in British Columbia, Canada. I'm surrounded by the ocean, forests, mountains, and abundant wildlife, and these things bring me joy that I hope finds its way into my images. When you view my work, my wish is that you feel a sense of intimacy that deepens your own connection to nature. Aside from photography, one of my passions is creating portraits of cats, dogs, and other animals. I also have growing collections of abstract landscapes, trees, flowers, and musical instruments. I also enjoy creating collages using vintage ephemera from the late 1800's and early 1900's. My work has been published numerous times in books, magazines, calendars, greeting...
