Description
A pair of brown pelicans dive for fish in the turquoise ocean alone the shore of Caya Santa Maria, an island off Cuba. The huge birds often worked in unison, with at least two pelicans or often more finding a "hot spot" where the fish were plentiful, then diving headlong into the water. Sometimes they even fished with people swimming only feet away. It was always a thrill to watch these incredible birds hunting for their next meal.
