Description
This photograph is one in a series of shots I took of a group of five ospreys that were all trying to claim this nest on top of an old fir tree as their own. I'm not sure if this couple is a male and female but there was some fighting going on occasionally. Mostly the ospreys flew around the area, often calling to each other, and sometimes landing in the nest. Their displays went on for over an hour.
