Artist's Description
Whimsical colorful artwork of a mlk cow -- a Holstein-Friesian to be exact -- in a meadow of flowers. Lucky Millie, her pasture has lots of tasty flowers like daisies and all kinds of wildflowers for her to nibble on. And Millie's owner is lucky too, because all those flowers end up as delicious milk when it's milking time on the dairy farm. This image been given a quilted effect.
As the granddaughter and daughter of dairy farmers, I've always had a fondness for cows. They are quite loveable and do like affection. The black and white Holstein cattle were the breed I remember my grandparents having on their farm. To this day I vividly remember the milk in glass bottles with lots of cream on top...yum!
Millie the cow is part of a larger collection of artwork with a quilted effect.
