Description
Photograph of a handsome male northern flicker perched on the branch of a hemlock tree with hemlock cones in the background. The flickers love to perch on this particular branch just outside our living room window, waiting for their turn to eat some suet from the cage that we keep well stocked. The flicker is a medium to large-sized woodpecker.
