Description
Black and white image of a flock of Canada Geese flying in formation. I have added a watercolor effect to my original photograph to give it a more painterly feel. The Canada Goose is a common sight in British Columbia, Canada but they are native to the Arctic and migrate across North America and even cross the Atlantic to northern Europe.
Day 1 - " Flock of Geese Black and White Watercolor" is my entry on day one for Fine Art America's week-long challenge to create a new work each day with the theme of "black and white".

This is a great black and white image Peggy! We have had a lot of them flying at night this past week.

The painterly feel and diagonal composition make this stand out, Peggy. As a kid I was fascinated that we got Canada geese in Ireland "Did they really come all that way?"

These geese seems to be floating in thin air with the white background Peggy. Great start to the Black & White Challenge.
