Artist's Description

Cash is a Blue Lacy dog. The Lacy dog is a breed of working dog that originated in Texas in the mid-19th century.

Cash is super serious about his jobs as a wild game recovery hunter and a runner, but he is also one of the goofiest dogs his owners have ever met. His energy level is through the roof and even after a 10 (or 20) mile run he loves to play and wrestle with his dad :) He MUST sleep under the covers at night and does not like to be disturbed while snoozing (he gets grumpy when he’s tired)! He is known to be a picky eater. Cash loves his walks and to socialize at the dog park. His favorite person in the world is his dad and he doesn’t always like mom to come between the two of them. He is an attention hog for sure.

About Peggy Collins

Peggy Collins

I am a digital/mixed media artist and nature photographer living on Vancouver Island in British Columbia, Canada. I'm surrounded by the ocean, forests, mountains, and abundant wildlife, and these things bring me joy that I hope finds its way into my images. When you view my work, my wish is that you feel a sense of intimacy that deepens your own connection to nature. Aside from photography, one of my passions is creating portraits of cats, dogs, and other animals. I also have growing collections of abstract landscapes, trees, flowers, and musical instruments. I also enjoy creating collages using vintage ephemera from the late 1800's and early 1900's. My work has been published numerous times in books, magazines, calendars, greeting...
