Artist's Description

Vertical photograph of a black-tailed deer buck standing in snow by the ocean in winter, with more snow falling on the bushes behind him. I followed this healthy-looking buck down to the water's edge by following his tracks in the snow one snowy December morning and found him resting underneath a snow-laden tree.
