Description

I was sitting on a piece of driftwood by the Pacific Ocean, taking a break, when this pair of North American river otters swam right up to me, maybe 10-15 feet from shore, and gazed at me with curiosity. The water water streaked with gold as they peered at me for a couple of minutes, part of a family of about 8 otters. As a photographer, it was one of those times I know I'll never forget.
