A photograph and digital watercolor painting of a church and the gorgeous trees with their fall foliage of bright red and orange leaves. This is St. Stephen's United Church in Qualicum Beach on Vancouver Island in British Columbia, Canada, when the autumn leaves turn the area into a blaze of color. There is a small round area framed by hedges just before the church entrance with a little garden. On Saturdays if you walk a little further down the road you'll come upon the busy Qualicum Beach farmer's market. It's a quaint, calm area with many lovely things to see.
