Photograph of a chestnut-backed chickadee sitting on a snowy cedar tree branch in winter, hoping for a treat. In winter the chickadees used to follow me around the yard where I used to live, knowing that I kept a pocket full of peanuts for them. They would land on my camera, on my shoulders, and sometimes even on my head, begging for a peanut. One time a chickadee even went into my pocket and dug out a peanut for himself. This is just one of my many photographs of chickadees available in my bird collection.
