Description
A chickadee waits out the winter, sitting on a snowy tree branch with more snow falling around him...he even has a snowflake on his beak. This is a photograph of a chestnut-backed chickadee, but I have added several textures to give the image a more painterly appeal. The chickadee is sitting on an oceanspray bush (which is also called ironwood) in this nature photograph with neutral tones.
