Meet Sonny, a ginger cat who looks forward to a nearby field of sunflowers blooming every year so that he can wander through and reflect its magnificence in his green eyes. When Sonny isn't admiring flowers he spends his time carefully grooming his thick orange coat of fur, or nibbling on delicacies that his owners offer in humble hopes that he will approve. Sonny takes every opportunity to hog the bed and his parents enjoy his foot-warming abilities and will put up with just about anything from him because he is just that good of a cat.

I am a digital/mixed media artist and nature photographer living on Vancouver Island in British Columbia, Canada. I'm surrounded by the ocean, forests, mountains, and abundant wildlife, and these things bring me joy that I hope finds its way into my images. When you view my work, my wish is that you feel a sense of intimacy that deepens your own connection to nature. Aside from photography, one of my passions is creating portraits of cats, dogs, and other animals. I also have growing collections of abstract landscapes, trees, flowers, and musical instruments.
