Artist's Description
Meet Cash, a Blue Lacy dog who is part of a loving family but is also a working dog, trained for wild game recovery. Also known as a blood dog, Cash is able to track and find a wounded animal if a hunter made a bad shot so that the animal can be put out of its misery and meat can be harvested.
Cash is very high energy and can go all day. His energy level is through the roof and even after a 10 (or 20) mile run he loves to play and wrestle with his dad. He runs with his mom while she trains for marathons and is part of a running group called the Little Rock Road Runners.
Cash's registered name is Cold Hard Cash.
This is one of several versions of this handsome dog.
About Peggy Collins
I am a digital/mixed media artist and nature photographer living on Vancouver Island in British Columbia, Canada. I'm surrounded by the ocean, forests, mountains, and abundant wildlife, and these things bring me joy that I hope finds its way into my images. When you view my work, my wish is that you feel a sense of intimacy that deepens your own connection to nature. Aside from photography, one of my passions is creating portraits of cats, dogs, and other animals. I also have growing collections of abstract landscapes, trees, flowers, and musical instruments. I also enjoy creating collages using vintage ephemera from the late 1800's and early 1900's. My work has been published numerous times in books, magazines, calendars, greeting...
