Description
Photograph of a capuchin monkey sitting on a palm tree in the tropical jungles of Costa Rica. The capuchins (also called white-faced monkeys) arrived in a troop very early every morning while I visited the Osa Peninsula, and would swing through the trees searching for fruit. They were nature's alarm clock, and wake-up time was about 5:00 a.m. In this photograph the monkey is examining a small piece of food.

Peggy, an interesting depiction of this white-faced capuchin. How wonderful to have seen them in the wild.
Peggy Collins replied:
Thanks very much, Margaret. Yes, it was a real treat to see them in the wild, and every day too.
