Description
In the late 1800's and early 1900's, people practiced their penmanship by drawing birds in pen and ink. The art of calligraphy was practiced by many and it was taught in many correspondence schools. I have colorized this version in blue and green. This drawing is part of a series of Victorian era bird illustrations.
