Artist's Description
A pretty and feminine still life photograph of a bone china tea cup and saucer with a beautiful pattern of red and pink roses, with a stem of foxgloves in the foreground. Several textures have been layered on to add to the painterly impressionistic tone of the image. Tea, anyone?
About Peggy Collins
I am a digital/mixed media artist and nature photographer living on Vancouver Island in British Columbia, Canada. I'm surrounded by the ocean, forests, mountains, and abundant wildlife, and these things bring me joy that I hope finds its way into my images. When you view my work, my wish is that you feel a sense of intimacy that deepens your own connection to nature. Aside from photography, one of my passions is creating portraits of cats, dogs, and other animals. I also have growing collections of abstract landscapes, trees, flowers, and musical instruments. I also enjoy creating collages using vintage ephemera from the late 1800's and early 1900's. My work has been published numerous times in books, magazines, calendars, greeting...

Peggy, gave my mom your artwork yesterday and she loved it... we reminisced about living in London, and how she walked by the store every day for months before she could buy a set of this china. She is going to hang your art in her kitchen near the china cabinet. Your work brought us joy!
Peggy Collins replied:
Rose, I don't know why I'm just seeing your comments now. Thank you so much for letting me know about how you and your mom enjoyed the print and had a chance to reminisce. That makes it extra special for me.
