Description
This is a commissioned portrait of a tabby cat named Amos, done here with a paisley effect in tones of brown, beige, black and a hint of red. Here is his owner's description of him:
"I got him from a foster 15.5 years ago that told me he was found in a cardboard box on the side of the road along with several siblings. The first time I met him, he fell asleep in my hand. I had to have him and a sister who since passed. This special guy was an indoor cat only but when he had the chance to hunt a creature that happened to get inside, he was relentless. He loved to curl up on a chair on our lanai with a bit of sun to warm him. He always wanted to know what my husband and I were having for dinner. If it was a meat that he had a taste for he would let you know by sitting right beside you and meowing to get his point across. When a tuna can was opened he pretty much went ballistic until he got his fill. He was not a lap cat but always was my alarm clock in the morning when it was time for breakfast. But he loved to be brushed every morning prior to eating. He would talk to me until I picked up the brush. It was our daily ritual. We loved and spoiled Amos rotten for his whole life and miss him dearly."
