Description
This is a commissioned portrait of a gorgeous Siamese cat named Isis. Following is a description written by one of her owners.
"Isis was my husband Steve's kitty. When I joined the family, he let me know how special she was. Steve suffers from bouts of depression and Isis was very protective during these times. She would lie next to him when he was feeling sad, and purr, and he would lay his hand on her for comfort. He told me he envisioned her as a white tiger keeping away the darkness that threatened to descend on him. He is a historian and a writer, and he adopted her from the animal shelter in Fresno, CA. She was already named Isis, after the Egyptian goddess.
When she died it was in his arms as he wept.
This artwork is for his Christmas present."
