Artist's Description
Meet Cinnamon, a brown tabby cat who loves to nap in the afternoon and stay awake all night. Cinnamon is an indoor cat but she pretends she's wild when she sits at the sliding glass door and chatters at passing squirrels and birds she spies visiting the feeder hanging close by. Cinnamon will eat just about anything and has been known to enjoy a nip of cat nip now and again. Cinnamon's slightly psychedelic portrait is done in tones of brown, brick red, black and gold in square format.
About Peggy Collins

I am a digital/mixed media artist and nature photographer living on Vancouver Island in British Columbia, Canada. I'm surrounded by the ocean, forests, mountains, and abundant wildlife, and these things bring me joy that I hope finds its way into my images. When you view my work, my wish is that you feel a sense of intimacy that deepens your own connection to nature. Aside from photography, one of my passions is creating portraits of cats, dogs, and other animals. I also have growing collections of abstract landscapes, trees, flowers, and musical instruments. I also enjoy creating collages using vintage ephemera from the late 1800's and early 1900's. My work has been published numerous times in books, magazines, calendars, greeting...
