About Peggy Collins
I am a nature photographer and digital artist living on the coast of Vancouver Island in British Columbia, Canada. I'm surrounded by the ocean, forests, mountains, and abundant wildlife, and these things bring me joy that I hope finds its way into my images. When you view my work, my wish is that you feel a sense of intimacy that deepens your own connection to nature.
Aside from photography, one of my passions is creating abstract portraits of cats, dogs, and cows. These portraits have become something of an obsession and I have also completed a number of commissions for pet owners. More recently I have begun creating abstract paintings of musical instruments.
I also enjoy creating collages using vintage ephemera from the late 1800's and early 1900's. These collages are often quite whimsical in nature.
My work has been published numerous times in books, magazines, calendars, greeting card lines (including Hallmark), advertisements, and television. Previously represented by Getty Images, I now license my images privately. Please contact me if you're interested in licensing a particular image.
Please feel free to browse through my collections and if there is something you like, you'll find that purchasing is a very simple process. We print on museum quality photo paper, canvas, acrylic board, and metal, and there is a large selection of framing options from which to choose. I encourage all viewers and buyers to give me feedback via email. All purchases have a 30-day money-back guarantee in the unlikely event that you are not 100% satisfied.
