Photograph of a great blue heron flying away from a tree with a branch in its beak to add to its nest. A painted blue texture was added to this nature photo to give the image a more painterly quality. About Peggy Collins
I am a digital/mixed media artist and nature photographer living on Vancouver Island in British Columbia, Canada. I'm surrounded by the ocean, forests, mountains, and abundant wildlife, and these things bring me joy that I hope finds its way into my images. When you view my work, my wish is that you feel a sense of intimacy that deepens your own connection to nature.
