Artist's Description
Photograph of pink chrysanthemums in a red teapot with a handle. The teapot is sitting on a wooden deck railing outside with out of focus fall leaves in the background. This floral still life photo has all the warm colors of autumn with its tones of red and orange and the pink flowers add another splash of color. A painted texture has been added to give the image a painterly quality.
About Peggy Collins
I am a digital/mixed media artist and nature photographer living on Vancouver Island in British Columbia, Canada. I'm surrounded by the ocean, forests, mountains, and abundant wildlife, and these things bring me joy that I hope finds its way into my images. When you view my work, my wish is that you feel a sense of intimacy that deepens your own connection to nature. Aside from photography, one of my passions is creating portraits of cats, dogs, and other animals. I also have growing collections of abstract landscapes, trees, flowers, and musical instruments.
