Vertical photograph of an innocent fawn with spots looking very innocent, standing in a flower garden. Black-eyed Susans and other colorful flowers surround the young deer. A painted texture and lighting effects were added to this nature photo to give it a more painterly quality. Having deer in your garden might be a gardener's nightmare but it's a photographer's delight!
About Peggy Collins
I am a digital/mixed media artist and nature photographer living on Vancouver Island in British Columbia, Canada. I'm surrounded by the ocean, forests, mountains, and abundant wildlife, and these things bring me joy that I hope finds its way into my images. When you view my work, my wish is that you feel a sense of intimacy that deepens your own connection to nature. Aside from photography, one of my passions is creating portraits of cats, dogs, and other animals. I also have growing collections of abstract landscapes, trees, flowers, and musical instruments.
