Photograph of four baby coyotes running together in the grass beside a parking lot. There were five coyote pups in the litter but it was hard to catch them all together at any one time because they played non-stop and were usually on the run. Their den was behind the fence (which you can just barely see) in a thicket of blackberry bushes. They were born very close to a busy street but had a mass of trails behind their den where they could roam.
I am a digital/mixed media artist and nature photographer living on Vancouver Island in British Columbia, Canada. I'm surrounded by the ocean, forests, mountains, and abundant wildlife, and these things bring me joy that I hope finds its way into my images.
