Description
Photograph of a white-faced monkey (also called a capuchin) posing in a palm tree in the rainforest of the Osa Peninsula in Costa Rica. Troops of capuchins would usually wake us up around 5:00 in the morning as they wandered through the treetops, searching for ripe fruit. Often we'd be awakened by a palm fruit crashing onto the roof. I didn't mind at all...in fact, I'd always grab my camera and run outside to try to photograph them although it was practically impossible in the early morning light.
